Michael Galibois is an experienced litigator and trial attorney, who has practiced with the founding members his entire career. He has extensive litigation, trial and appellate experience in both federal and state courts in Illinois and throughout the country.

Michael represents clients engaged in a variety of financial services, industrial manufacturing, fidelity bond underwriting, insurance, and host of other commercial and not-for-profit enterprises. He has litigated matters ranging from two-party disputes to complex multiple party and class action litigation.

In his diverse litigation practice, Michael has successfully represented clients in alleged securities fraud litigation, RICO suits, UCC warranty and state law fair dealership claims, ERISA and health care contract litigation, consumer fraud actions, product liability suits, and employment practices matters. He has also represented broker-dealers and registered representatives in arbitration proceedings before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.

Michael is member of the Federal Trial Bar for the Northern District of Illinois. He is admitted to practice in Illinois, the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.

Michael is a member of the American Constitutional Society for Law & Policy and the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Chicago Bar Association. Michael serves as general counsel to Illinois State Representative Daniel K. Biss (IL-17th).

Michael graduated from Georgetown’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service in 1996, and received his J.D. from Notre Dame Law School in 2000. While in law school, he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Notre Dame Journal of Legislation.
